In 1995 the Gabb family entered the South African wine industry with Western Wines.
In February 2016, following a strong and successful history of grocery supply, Cape Wine Exporters was launched by Rollo Gabb and Ben Jordaan (ex head winemaker of Kumala).
Our focus is to provide quality bespoke bulk solutions to our customers across the world.
Production
We work with a consistent group of strong and historic production partners, with the added benefit of being able to enhance volume blends with high specification estate components made in our own cellar.
Facilities
Our own Estate components are frequently used to enhance and improve volume blends.
Quality Control
With all of our supply hubs minimum HACCP certified; our compliance team conduct regular audits by the major retailers and customers.

Our Vineyards
Our Schapenberg vineyards are the most Southerly plantings in Stellenbosch and heavily influenced by the Atlantic.
15ha is specifically dedicated to conservation of indigenous plant and animal life. Solar powered and sustainable – we follow a number of organic and biodynamic principles
